As the name implies, it is a museum displaying musical boxes and sharing their historical background, from the rise and fall of the musical boxes to how they made their way to Singapore in the 19th century. Furthermore, it's Singapore’s first musical box museum!

Some of the stuff they have on sale are vintage musical boxes, music jewellery boxes and musical photo frames, all of which you can purchase at the museum.
There is an admission fee of $12 for adults, $6 for seniors (above 60) and students. Children 6 and under and accompanied by an adult have free admission.

Reservations must be made in advance and are subjected to availability. A guided tour is compulsory and takes around 40 minutes. It will be led by a trained guide or curator.
The group size of each tour is limited to no more than eight pax (excluding guide), and are subjected to the availability of guides. To make a booking, you can email smbmbox@gmail.com or call them at 6221 0102.
